This session was part of the joint eAssessment Scotland and Transforming Assessment online conference, 8 to 19 September 2014.
Presenter: Rob Peregoodoff, Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia, Canada
Hosted by Prof Geoffrey Crisp, Dean T&L, RMIT University and Dr Mathew Hillier, University of Queensland, Australia starting 07:00AM UST/GMT. Duration 1 hour, 12 Minutes.
Having conducted large-scale (+600) fully online BYOD, wireless midterm and final exams for over 4 years, the Sauder School of Business has experience, both in complexity and variety of exam types. Rob Peregoodoff, Director of Learning Services, shared their story of how they use Blackboard (Vista and Learn) as their platform (for good and bad) to run these large scale e-exams. And no, they are not all multiple choice exams. The session covered issues such as the scale (numbers), technology (network infrastructure and security measures), exam procedures and the range of exam questions employed.
