Title: The Shape of Cheating to Come

This talk will give a glimpse at how broad and deeply contract cheating has penetrated higher education, and what we can do to turn the tide. We will also demonstrate how learning analytics may fail unless we begin to pay attention to “non-learning analytics”, and what this means for future strategic decision making. The team at Macquarie University have developed a tool set called "Wiroo" that uses large data sets to detect potential academic integrity breaches at scale.
