1 November 2023: Courageous Conversations: addressing integrity issues with humanity
Presenter: Kane Murdoch, Macquarie University, Australia
Title: Courageous Conversations: addressing integrity issues with humanity.
This webinar outlined the principles and practice of Courageous Conversations, a restorative approach to academic integrity. Breaches of academic integrity have long been an issue in higher education, and are usually addressed via punitive means. However, responding to breaches via a non-punitive approach, balancing integrity and an accurate educational record, has proven to be highly effective- for institutions, students and staff.
