19 September 2025: Australasian Symposium on Programmatic Approaches to Assessment
The 2025 Australasian Symposium on Programmatic Approaches to Assessment was jointly hosted by Transforming Assessment (ASCILITE SIG) and the HERDSA Assessment Quality SIG. This page includes all session recordings and resources.
This full day event showcased a range of approaches to redesigning assessment along programmatic lines. Coverage included "Programmatic Assessment" as well as related program-level and program-wide approaches to redesigning and implementing assessment. Initiatives at the institution, faculty and school level were featured that included case studies from a range of disciplines along with lively audience discussion in the chat.
The resources below would be a great companion to the subsequently released TEQSA guidance "Enacting assessment reform in a time of artificial intelligence" by Lodge et al on 25 Sept.
The symposium was held from 10am to 4pm, Eastern Australia standard time, on Friday 19th of September 2025.
The program schedule is available to view.
